Six, nearly seven years ago, I posted some all-caps rage "review" after playing and completing Undertale to hate on it (for the most part, sans the couple glimpses of praise I threw here and there). Being the edgy shit I was, I dismissed a lot of the game's content as just some crybaby plea to make the player feel bad for killing and not offering much aside from a basic visual novel experience otherwise. I've completed the game again. Much of what I said back then was spouted out of sheer cynicism fueled by the game's rocketing popularity at the time. So much of my previous opinion doesn't hold up to what I think of the game now. Frankly, I'd regard most everything I said in that old post as blatant ignorance I wrote out of blind hatred for the game. There was a lot I seemed to have missed before that I only now noticed with an older mindset and retrospect. I don't think I'll be writing even close to as much as I did back then.
